"I always felt in good hands. My coach was insightful and caring, but she knew how to push me a bit to unlock my full potential."

The Coaching Process
Nebo coaching is a customized, results-oriented process that improves each client's ability to create the outcomes they want in both professional and personal arenas. We offer a select team of highly trained coaches to work with our clients. Each coaching engagement is unique and services are customized to meet the specific needs and requirements of individual clients.
Coaching sessions are conducted by phone or in person and generally focus on developing the client's ability to assess and strategically manage current challenges and priorities while strengthening particular leadership capabilities identified at the onset of the engagement.
Would you welcome a regular confidential conversation with a skilled coach trained to help you unlock your potential and create breakthrough results? Imagine facing your challenges with a strategic partner who offers encouragement, support and honest feedback -- someone who asks provocative questions that bring clarity and new possibilities.
Your Nebo coach is someone who understands you, respects your challenges, and calls for the best from you. Our coaches know how to listen and help you hear yourself. They are also seasoned strategists who bring specific frameworks, tools and approaches to their coaching work. The quality of the conversation, combined with your coach's commitment to holding you accountable for taking action, is what catalyzes results.
Nebo provides coaching for leadership teams and executive groups such as Boards. We help the group to clarify its purpose and priorities, and create shared vision, values, priorities, and sense of urgency. A team coaching engagement typically includes private coaching for the team leader as well as coaching for the group through participation in team meetings as a team coach. We often provide assessments such as DISC and PIAV a culture survey or Leadership Circle Profile 360 as part of the process in order to create a common understanding of the group's dynamics.
Three Stages of a Coaching Engagement
Stage 1: Discovery and Self-Awareness
During an initial consultation, a Nebo coach will interview you to learn about your needs to match you with the right coach. Once matched, you and your coach will develop an overall coaching plan for the engagement, identify actionable goals, and agree upon the logistics and duration of your coaching work together.
The first stage of coaching often focuses on assessing strengths and development needs. Nebo coaches may use assessment tools, frameworks and other methods to provide structure and measurable learning for clients throughout the coaching process.
Often, a coaching engagement will include the use of an assessment instrument to support learning. Nebo offers several well-known and respected assessment options, including DISC, PIAV, Leadership Circle 360 Profile, Highlands Ability Battery, Bar-On EQI, and Myers-Briggs (MBTI).
Stage 2: Exploration and Practice
We call this phase "exploration" because the client begins to practice new approaches and try self-observation exercises that lead to new awareness and learning. During this stage, you begin to discover what works best for you, adopt practices that will help you learn by doing, and fine-tune the strategies that will continue to bring you results beyond the duration of the coaching engagement.
Stage 3: Integration
Nebo coaches pay attention to progress versus initial goals throughout the engagement. The final phase of coaching focuses on the integration of personal best practices in order to sustain results and performance at a higher level beyond the duration of the engagement.
