In her role as Client Services and Experience Manager, Sophie is essential to the delivery of Nebo’s client services, working in support of delivery teams to set up and successfully execute client engagements. With a keen eye for detail, she ensures that all client engagements track smoothly from start to finish by tracking progress, preparing Sponsor reports, assuring proper staffing of all engagements, and coordinating the delivery of assessments.
Prior to her arrival at Nebo, Sophie developed her teamwork and communication skills by assisting a team of architects and building strong relationships with clients, firm principals, vendors and others at a New York City architecture firm. Through this work, she was able to blend her love for art and design with her strength in interpersonal skills. She also discovered that architecture is an emotional process that involves listening to and learning about a client’s needs.
Sophie is inspired by the process of helping clients find the solutions that work best for them – an interest that drew her to Nebo. She is energized by the positive, collective impact that Nebo seeks to make through its work with leaders and organizations.
- Worked as an Executive & Administrative Assistant at Schiller Projects, working closely with executives and company leaders
- Managed legal and personal advertisement clients as a Sales Assistant at a local Vermont newspaper
- Grew up on a working apple orchard in Vermont, which instilled a resilience and strong work ethic that she carries with her today
- Bachelor of Arts in English and American Literatures (Middlebury College)
- Loves reading novels (ideally at a park or seated on the porch)
- Lives in New York City, where she enjoys seeing live music and trying new restaurants with friends
- Avid cross-country skier and lifelong competitive athlete
