World Bank Names Nebo Official Partner of Its 3rd Annual Innovate4Climate Conference

The Nebo Company has been named an official partner of the World Bank’s 3rd Annual Innovate4Climate (I4C) Conference hosted in Singapore from June 4-7. The conference is an integral part of the global dialogue on climate finance, climate investment, and climate markets. Sponsored by the governments of Singapore, Germany, and Spain, the World Bank convenes leaders from business, banking, finance, policy, and technology to discuss how to leverage and direct investment toward low-carbon economies. This year’s conference focuses on sustainable cooling, battery storage, and climate-smart urban development.

    Supporting Innovation for Climate Change

Along with other corporate partners such as Amazon Web Services, Nebo has partnered with the World Bank to support the finalists in its first ever Pitch Hub Competition. The Pitch Hub Competition features start-up companies building technologies and solutions for a more sustainable and healthier future. Nebo will provide leadership development for the winner of the competition. “The biggest threat to the environment is the belief that someone else will fix it”, says Edwin Schmierer, Nebo’s Vice President of Finance & Technology Innovation. “Sustainability is a core value at Nebo so we are pleased to partner with the World Bank to support companies building climate-smart solutions.”
